Founded in October 2007, the Force India team hasn't fared too well in the world of split second timing. What originally used to be the Spyker F1 team, now bought by Kingfisher tycoon Vijay Mallya and Jan and Michael Mol of Volmac and Media Republic is a team that represents the dreams of a billion people. however, the success that these two have seen in their own empires is a far cry from the Force India venture.

The first car was called the VJM-01 after Vijay Mallya himself and the second is to be called VJM-02. The VJM-02 will be powered by a Mercedes Benz engine and also haveMcLaren-Mercedes gearboxes, new hydraulic systems and the all new Kinetic Energy Recovery Systems (KERS). This of course seems to be the ray of hope for both the team and the fans. But as of now there's no telling any outcome in Formula One.

The gameplan is set for the next season and the Force India team is banking on Giancarlo Fisichella and Adrian Sutil to tear up the racetracks and win the team a podium position.
